About this part

2005596 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement fuel injection part. Cross-reference numbers: 2005596, BEBJ1D02001. Application recorded for this part: DAF MX13 Euro MY15. In a common rail system the injector is the component that actually controls combustion. It holds back fuel at rail pressure and lifts for only a few milliseconds at a time, metering the exact quantity and breaking it into a fine spray so the charge ignites cleanly. When delivery drifts, the engine does not usually stop — it simply starts to burn fuel badly. Symptoms that point to injector wear include hard starting when hot, rough idle, white smoke at start-up or black smoke under load, a sharp knocking from one cylinder, increased fuel consumption and a gradual loss of power. Because those symptoms also point to compression, turbocharger or air-side problems, it is worth confirming before ordering. A return-flow (back-leakage) test across all injectors and a cylinder cut-out test will usually identify both whether the fault is injector-related and which cylinder is responsible. Fitting notes: replace as a set rather than singly. A lone new injector will deliver differently from the worn ones around it, which usually reproduces the rough running. Use new sealing washers every time, clean the injector bore and seat carefully, and check whether your engine management expects classification codes to be entered after installation. Our rebuild standard: strip to components, clean, measure against wear limits, replace what is worn, machine back to specification where required, then calibrate and bench-test every unit. Delivery, return flow, opening pressure and leakage are recorded, and units outside specification are not dispatched. Test sheets available on request, and every unit carries a 12-month warranty.
