About this part

0445120236 is supplied as a remanufactured replacement injector. Cross-reference numbers: 0445120236. Application recorded for this part: 300 350. In a common rail system the injector is the component that actually controls combustion. It holds back fuel at rail pressure and lifts for only a few milliseconds at a time, metering the exact quantity and breaking it into a fine spray so the charge ignites cleanly. When delivery drifts, the engine does not usually stop — it simply starts to burn fuel badly. Common indicators are rough or unstable idle, smoke that was not there before, higher fuel consumption on the same duty cycle, diesel knock under load, and in some cases fuel dilution of the engine oil from an injector that is leaking internally. Before replacing anything, distinguish injector faults from their look-alikes. Comparing return volume between cylinders and running a cut-out test on a diagnostic tool will show which cylinder is actually contributing — cheap checks that prevent replacing parts that were not faulty. Fitment notes: injectors on the same engine wear together. Replacing only the failed unit often leaves the others close behind, and a single new injector reading differently from its neighbours will cause exactly the rough running you were trying to fix. Replacing as a matched set avoids that. Always fit new copper sealing washers and seals — used washers rarely seal a second time — and where the system requires injector classification or IQA codes, have them programmed to the ECU after fitting. Rebuilt rather than refurbished: full teardown and measurement, worn components replaced instead of cleaned and reused, sealing surfaces restored to specification, then bench calibration and testing. The record is what separates this from a used part — we can provide the test sheet for your order. Covered by a 12-month warranty.
